Namesake

I can’t possibly name my blog this and forget to post something about Calvin, can I?

Taken from the fine folks at Progressive Boink.  (And of course, Bill Watterson and his publishing company.)

The Cleveland Plain Dealer recently got a rare interview with the reclusive cartoonist.  Wonderful stuff.

Calvin and Hobbes is by far my all-time favorite comic strip.  Its insight, complexity, and timelessness make it amazing.  The weirdest part?  Calvin’s parents TOTALLY look like mine.

I never really thought about it but the parent resemblance is uncanny.

  2. C&H are my absolute favourite. I use them whenever possible in my classes. They have something brilliant and hilarious to say for all occasions.
