Amazing ISS Photos

I have a student with an aunt who is currently on this mission to the International Space Station.  That’s one of the best things about teaching near Houston – the amount of literal rocket scientists I have for students’ parents.

The photos in that link, from the Boston Globe’s amazing blog Big Picture, are outstanding.  This website has plenty of wallpaper-quality photos to get lost in.

Let’s just hope that Obama delivers on the budget.  The space program is one of those few things that can unite a country – let’s not screw it up. While it won’t affect me, it could have a devastating impact on the area and school district where I teach.  I hope that’s not an issue.
