Green Vignetted Buddha

I took this one night after cleaning my sensor – which is quite the ordeal.  I was ecstatic that I did it successfully and promise not to do it again unless it’s REALLY necessary next time.  Just don’t tell Nikon about any of this, OK?

In other news: I now have only about one month until I go back to Ohio to see family before making THE move to Taiwan.  Hsinchu County, here I come!  I’m in the process of Craigslisting some items… we’ll see how it all works out.

  1. Cleaning your sensor by yourself…. brave man!

  2. To be honest, it was after a trip to the beach last May. Notice none of those photos ended up on flickr!

  3. …to add to that – there was always “stuff” on it even after using the air blower. I just edited it out with Aperture – heck, there are still a few spots I know of…

I used the sensor swabs and it came out well. Needless to say, the lens won’t be coming off any time soon.
