These two Buddha statues are in Changhua at the Big Buddha of Baguashan. The statue to the left is this Buddha, which sits on top of a lotus leaf and is large enough to enter. The entire complex is seated on top of a mountain overlooking the city.

I was visiting the Big Buddha just last week while visiting my wife’s family in Taiwan. We had taken a road trip from Taipei down to Tainan and this was one of our stops. Great photos! I really enjoy your blog
Thanks! I really like that park – such a different spot in a big city.
